At the start of the pandemic, I converted my front room into a weightlifting gym so that I could work with clients in a private environment where I was in control of COVID safety.

I love training here and I hope you will too.

COVID-safe

The room is well-ventilated, with a fan and a large window, and I follow a rigorous cleaning protocol. This is a working document, so please do let me know if you feel I could be doing anything else to make you feel safe.

Private

The gym is not overlooked, has adjustable blinds on the window and no mirrors. We’ve got decent speakers and a nice chair to rest in. You can enjoy your workout in a comfortable environment with your favourite music.

Well-equipped

I am obsessed with good gym design so relished the chance to put the things I’ve learned through making my podcast on the subject into creating a minimal, multifunctional and above all comfortable training environment with a small footprint.

The gym is centred around a solid olympic weightlifting platform, a folding power rack, and a heavy duty adjustable bench.

We have all the equipment you’re likely to need - all the basics plus some exciting extras (grip training tools, axle bar, balance training) to play with too!
